Otabi-An Hostel offers one private room, along with two shared dormitory rooms, one for ladies, as well as another dormitory room for men, all at highly affordable prices that makes it easy for your budget.
All rooms are non-smoking rooms only for your comfort as well as safety.

Full cash payment in Japanese yen will be required upon check-in at arrival.

All rooms and beds in Otabi-An Hostel use high quality bedding made with Italian MagniFlex® and Japanese Nishikawa high thread count fabrics that is soft and comfortable.

Otabi-an Hostel is a 100-year old structure renovated for modern comfort, but much of the original wooden fittings for the room doors, walls and construction were retained for you to experience the authenticity of the era. Sound insulation between rooms would reflect that era as well. If you require sound isolation levels comparable to a modern structure, or totally isolated private rooms, stay at our hostel is not recommended.

Ladies Dormitory

Otabi-An Hostel offers a shared room with 4 beds available as a ladies’ dormitory. This room is air-conditioned for your comfort.

Double decker, wooden bunk beds are hand-made by local artisan carpenters.

Walls by each bed come equipped with 100 Volts AC plug, a USB charger and an LED reading light.

Durable wooden lockers built with each bed for storage also double as a stepper to access upper deck bed and won’t disturb occupant of the lower bunk.

The door for Ladies Dormitory is equipped with a digital lock to secure your safe sleep.

Group /Men's Dormitory

Otabi-An Hostel offers a shared room with 4 beds available as a group or men’s dormitory. For a use by a group or family including a woman or women, a reservation is accepted only when all the 4 beds can be booked for this dormitory.
This room is air-conditioned for your comfort.

Walls by each bed come equipped with 100 Volts AC plug, a USB charger and an LED reading light.

Private Japanese style tatami room

Otabi-An Hostel also offers a small cozy private room, available for occupancy by a single person who desires a little more privacy than a shared-room.

The private room is designed with the authentic styling of Japan using tatami flooring and offers the view of a tranquil Japanese garden accessible through a sliding glass door.

Private room is air-conditioned for your comfort.

Note that the shared living room (Lounge) is adjacent to this room, so occupants of this room may hear some noise until lights-out time at night and breakfast time in the morning.
